Don’t know what’s going on at LL, but this wednesday on their maintenance window, they did something horribly wrong and broke search 1½ days ago.

Wtf are they doing? It’s only getting worse! Yesterday i heard people were unable to pay, see map or teleport etc. but later on i started to see other problems myself too: Avatars not loading, Friends list not loading, and now not even map is working!! IT’s funny to see my avatar without a single loaded attachment …
Group land list gives “Service Unavailable”, like so many other stuff too.
Something they did, went HORRIBLY wrong… and is this an attempt to take heat off the issue at hand?
Can’t they rollback to codebase pre-maintenance?
Don’t know, but this time they have screwed up real bad! It’s affecting businesses (again) all around!
And these kind of problems are far too regular, far far faaaaar too regular.
Ok, i know their work isn’t the easiest and they got tons and tons of stuff to manage and the explosive growth etc.
But then again, we are also talking basics, basic services of SL.
At the sametime as these problems happen they keep doing this kind of things, eyecandy.
Ok, it’s neat, i like it, looks cool, and not everyone can be working on fixing the bugs and enhancing performance… But really, SL is VERY sluggish already as it is with my system: Core 2 Duo E6300, 2Gb DDR 400, ATI Radeon 9600 PRO (My newer vid card died couple weeks back).
I would assume their priorities for development are:
- Reliability
- Availability
- Performance
Not:
- Eyecandy
- New cool features
- Performance
- Reliability
- Availability
Like it seems to be currently. However, we do like the new features but we also like our reliability & dependability as business owners!
Why almost everything LL does breaks something else? This is no fun, it’s causing huge grief and management issues!
Issues are just escalating and escalating!
Either LL’s operations are being sabotaged, or they have to really work hard on their quality assurance.
I would say now “Thanks, but no thanks!”, but do i have a choice? No. I do have to stand up on this problems, and just wait them out, and HOPE not to loose much money.
Yesterday was still OK, quite good sales day … But today these issues have started to make an BIG impact on sales.
Is Linden Lab going to cover for the lost business days? Doubtfull! 
As it is, every time SL Doesn’t work properly i loose A LOT in many different costs… From which 800USD per month is to Linden Lab.
