Let’s start by what actually happened:
15th of March afternoon my time i received e-mails that nobody fugazi had
bought two of SLIB’s 256sqm parcels. I was like, why does he buy land from SLIB?
He owns already like half of that sim.
Couple hours later, i was suddenly at home when i tried to teleport to a parcel which looked
promising. There i was standing, looking silly, at the stairs of SLIB HQ, wondering what is
going on.
I continued on my usual routines, looking for land, accounting sales. But something is wrong:
Every now and then i get messages of “Cannot teleport to home”, then i realize: Isn’t this
what Arbor does? I thought Arbor is behind this.
You can guess — I became VERY ANGRY about this, for no reason, somebody is trying to harass
with SLIB’s business … MY BUSINESS … MY LIVING AND MY FOOD ON THE TABLE!
So, i went to Foxboro sim, bought from HIM a 512sqm parcel, cut it into 256sqm and two
128sqm parcels… Then proceeded to cut the 256sqm parcel to 16sqm parcels. Why?
Because, he claims i do spamvertising apparently (for getting blacklisted) so he better not
be lying.
Well, honestly, i did it to see if i could make his land loose value, NOTE: He claims it raises land value in his posting at: http://www.knowprose.com/node/17496#comment-7460 , i was in half way of cutting that 256sqm.
Then he got all maniac, he bought the 128sqm parcels. I stepped to his parcel which is for sale, this is what i got that time:
“Nobody Fugazi has frozen you for 30 seconds. You cannot move or interact with the world.”
and first thing he said to me was:
“Nobody Fugazi: This WILL be written of. And it WILL damage your credibility”
Here is more chatter, i have cutten out the non-important shoutings out:
Nobody Fugazi: your extortionist practices will NOT attract investors.
You: I’m not extortioning
You: that’s the funny part
Nobody Fugazi: yes YOU are.
You: have you see nbukhansan or euclidia?
Nobody Fugazi: set them to sale.
Nobody Fugazi: I will erect a monument to SLIB RIGHT HERE.
Nobody Fugazi: You will pay what I have in PR damage.
You: You are threatening

You: You really want that?

You: i was happily going around, buying 512-1024 sqm pieces, making them 256sqm today, and a few ad slot here and there
You: all of sudden i get TPd home when i try to TP somewhere
You: Not really funny, not even something to say “Get out of my land”
Nobody Fugazi: You’ll see that more often until you stop these practices.
You: Oh
Nobody Fugazi: That’s a bug in the LL script.
You: Who said i cannot use my alts?
You: Yes i know
Nobody Fugazi: so take it up with them

Nobody Fugazi: AND SLIB will get a bad name. 
You: Well registering an alt costs what.. some 4 ad slot profits?

— NOTE: This i did not do, i put them for the same price as the others: 400L$, and Virtouse bought them. So he did not actually loose money on this as he claims, i think virtouse donated them to him. also, what i actually got more than the buyin price was roughly 1700L$.
You: normally i would put a price of something like 210-270 but for you i’m putting more
You: I see two options you have here
You: Either, let me do my job, and hone getting them tastefull
Nobody Fugazi: You have two options.
You: Or
You: I keep making untastefull things (*** NOTE: I wouldn’t want to do that really)
Nobody Fugazi: You continue with your ad spamming, and you will continue to be blacklisted and get a negative reputation OR…
You: What i do ain’t against TOS, and it’s something what businesses need
You: Negative rep, from you guys?
Nobody Fugazi: You stop, and start building a good reputation. Your choice. No negotiation.
You: Who were your biggest benefactors again?
Nobody Fugazi: Muted.

Nobody Fugazi: you’re just a person out to make a quick buck at other people’s expense.
Nobody Fugazi: AND… you will always lose because of that.
Nobody Fugazi: I can build around anything you do.
Nobody Fugazi: no matter what he does like that, I end up looking good. The worse, the better.
Nobody Fugazi: reputation is what makes money. Not silly ad plots.

Nobody Fugazi: funny, I see him typing but not a word.

Nobody Fugazi: Again, Tyrian, I urge you to reconsider the stance of the bank which you represent. Choose carefully.
This is where i stopped, deaf ears.
What does he use against everyone he blacklists:
- A TP BUG: Causes spam of “Coult not teleport to home”.
- TP to Home on his parcels
- Trying his best on causing bad press.
- Unconfirmed but strong suspicion: Another TP to Home bug: Allowing TP’ng an avatar to home on sensor range. Might relate to first one also.
Couple short points:
- I find it ironical that his website is filled with ads and tag SPAM.
- Also on his own posting it already clearly shows that he did not loose 2k L$.
- Also he claims 16sqm ad lots raise land value, wouldn’t that be a favour to him then?
- He claims i’m extortioning: Did he ever say a word about those parcels being too expensive? Nope. He can then blame only himself.
- He actually is extortioning himself: Bad press & publicity, UNTIL i do what he tells me to do. Sorry, but i didn’t born to be a pupper.
Now, i’m not the only one. He claims to be trying to do good. But it’s actually quite the opposite, he bullies EVERYONE who might show some competition and doesn’t obey him as his puppet.
I know some people who are in his blacklist, with only reason being possible competition to him.
* Does SLIB has 16sqm lots in inventory then?
Yes, there is a few. But i’ve been conservatively creating ad locations, and usually 32sqm.
If there’s in a single location too many 16sqm lots, it actually devaluates the advertising location in whole, thus, it would be a bad business decision.
* Why there is such small parcels?
Businesses always need advertising, it’s essential for businesses. Businesses need customers,
and customers doesn’t come in automatically. Advertising is the key to make customers come
into your store.
Nobody Fugazzi doesn’t need advertising, he doesn’t have anything to benefit from advertising.
* How does SLIB benefit from this all?
First of all: Advertising space is VALUABLE. In fact, it averages over double selling price than the current market price is, and it actually is climbing up.
Second: SLIB gets self advertising as a byproduct by couple means: land sales tracker hands out landmarks, and sometimes new owners leave them there.
Third: There is a small revenue stream thru Metro affiliate advertising put in occasionally, not all places but to some places.
* What’s the benefit for businesses?
They will find easier the locations to advertise, places which aren’t spamvertising locations.
How? I actually spend time on scouting, i also look to surroundings in quite detail, is it worth it etc.?
* Has SLIB done “spamvertising”?
There is a few locations where there is several small parcels, still mainly 32sqm.
This is stopped all together as unprofitable, it just doesn’t give profits and isn’t valuable
to ANYONE.
* What is SLIB doing to improve things?
There is some research going into making better advertising solutions for SL, more eye appealing and less eye sore and less spam.
Steps so far taken: Limiting the amount per location. only couple ads means no spamvertising.
Something you should always remember:
- SLIB is here to generate profit to client’s, not as a “ecohippie”
- More good can be done when SLIB has enough assets, which is better, little good with pennies, or much good with big bags of money? However, SLIB isn’t and will never be an philanthropic organization. Philanthropic actions has to have a good PR value if such things are done, or be otherwise profitable.
- SLIB isn’t a “cutter” in Nobody Fugazzi’s nor Arbor Projects terms.
- Ad land profits 3 times as much with under 1/4th the volume than larger parcels.
- This will be brought to voting as a proposal in near future.
